- Yes, NT runs OK in 12Mb and fine in 16Mb. From my experience NT consumes
- about 4Mb more than OS/2 or Win95.

-
- It's true that NT is more expensive than OS/2 and Win95. But considering
- what people spend on Office applications, games etc, it doesn't seems like
- a huge investment.

-
- Nothing special to do with NT but:
-
- Here in Sweden I can buy 16Mb RAM (70ns) for $250 on mailorder. Seems like
- we should start to export some SIMMs to the US! :)

-
- NT hasn't any crippled versions at all (all include networking, SMP support,
- security, RAS, etc). Running server software on NT WS is no problem at all,
- in fact many webservers runs on NT WS instead of NT S.
-
- The difference is that NT S is a little bit more optimised (not much) for
- server usage and has a license to allow more connected users.

-
- I have no PCI computer at all (even if my next maybe will be that). NT runs
- just fine on both ISA end EISA boards. The only problem I heard of is MC
- based boards (IBM PS/2 computers).
-
- > That Pentium's slow, eh? Add another $500 for a faster chip!
-
- My *fastest* NT computer is my DEC 486/66 who is just fine for my needs.

- Ok.

-
- Not.
